Bios

  • Wende Saunders

    DVM

    Dr. Saunders grew up in Canada where she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon in 1986. She practiced small animal medicine for 2 years before traveling around Asia for a year. She then settled in London, England where she practiced for 15 years. While there she studied and received certification in veterinary acupuncture. Dr. Saunders came to the US in 2004 and has been with Madison Animal Hospital since then. She lives locally with her three cats, Mouser, Dovi and Luna.

  • Eva Bostek-Brady

    DVM

    Dr. Eva Bostek-Brady joined MAH in 1989, having spent two years in a practice in southeastern Massachusetts. She is a native of Butler, NJ, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cornell University. Dr. Bostek-Brady is married and has two sons, Ethan and Graham, along with a dog and a cat.

  • Michelle Annese

    DVM

    Dr. Michelle Annese graduated from Iowa State University in 2001. Immediately after graduation she completed an internship in Maryland at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates. She became an associate veterinarian at a small animal practice in Northern Virginia from 2001 to 2005. Then her and her husband moved back to their home state of New Jersey, were she began working at Madison Animal Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine. Her furry family consists of three cats and three dogs, all over the age of ten.

  • Gregory Erdman

    VMD

    Dr. Erdman, Medical Director at Madison Animal Hospital since September 2007, has been with the practice since 1994. He received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, and practiced in New Jersey for 3 years prior to joining MAH. Greg became ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) certified in Canine and Feline Practice in 2007 and retains interests in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, in addition to other exotic companion animals including small mammals, reptiles and birds. Dr. Erdman also currently serves as Vice President for the Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association. Originally from rural central Pennsylvania, he currently lives in Wyckoff, NJ with his wife, daughter, son and Pugsley ' an English toy spaniel originally obtained as a rescue. He has been involved in several community activities in Wyckoff including coaching recreation softball, baseball and soccer teams, and assisting in various scouting and church programs. When able to find free time, he enjoys softball, skiing and traveling.

  • Pamela Schuech

    DVM

    Dr. Pam Scheuch is a graduate of Wagner College and a 2011 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include general medicine and surgery, behavior, feline medicine and public health. Prior to her DVM degree, Pam managed a VCA veterinary hospital in New York where she worked for 13+ years. Pam has two adopted Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees dogs, Cookie and Ludo, and three cats, Pumpkin, Spooky and Subie. Outside of work, Pam enjoys hiking with her dogs, kayaking, biking and native plant gardening.

  • Barbara Day

    DVM

    Dr. Day grew up in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She joined MAH in 1988, where she has maintained an interest in the Human-Animal bond and in shelter medicine. She has been involved in the community, currently serving on the board of St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center. She also volunteers there, and has adopted 3 of her 4 pets, including a big, prolifically shedding dog with issues that she loves. She has a grown son and daughter, and enjoys her running club, gardening, doing home improvements, and working with people who love animals.

  • Laura Armenti

    As a Madison native, Dr. Laura Armenti is excited to join the Madison Animal Hospital team. She is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London and a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Prior to vet school, Laura received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Syracuse University. She then spent two years working as a veterinary assistant and pet-sitter. Her professional interests include dermatology, behavior and weight management. She lives locally with her adopted chihuahua-mix, Pepe, and enjoys singing, playing field hockey and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Andy Anderson

    DVM

    Dr. Andy Anderson is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he studied with an emphasis on exotics and wildlife medicine. While he sees all pets ranging from dogs and cats, birds, fish, and pocket pets he is passionate about reptiles. Understanding that all pets and their owners are different, Dr. Anderson is committed to working closely with clients to provide individualized care for each of their pets. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he has lived in Alaska, Wyoming, Texas, Tennessee as well as Oklahoma. He now lives in Morristown NJ. In his spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys cooking, saltwater aquaria, and going to the gym. At the moment, his household includes a fish tank and a slowly growing collection of reptiles.
